Here I have started a guide of sorts that will cover various elements of the game all completed as I play it myself. I LOVE Rune Factory games! A perfect mix of farming, relationship building, town upgrading, monster taming, monster fighting, and story all with RPG elements. Published: XSEED Games / Marvelous USA, Inc.I could give you tips that would make it really easy, but the exploration and messing around with things is an enjoyable part of the process, at least to me.Updated – fan-made and completed as I play the game If you want some tips for farming you can ask, but I would play the game without knowing too much, since it's probably more fun to discover anything on your own. Eventually when you have a lot of gold you can just buy a bunch of corn and use it on your fields when they get low on hp. To manage soil health, you should mainly use withered grass in the early game. Platinum ones can water half your field in one go, the cheap one needs 36 separate single waterings to do the same. The Tier of the tools obviously matters a lot, cheap waterpot is much worse than one crafted with a platinum for example. To answer your original questions more indepth though, Farm tool LEVEL doesn't matter, but some upgrades are useful, the most obvious one is using a magnifying glass to upgrade any tool so that it has the glass's effect, seeing the soil health, without having to swap to the glass and swapping back to your tool. Helpful in early game to veteran players since they won't need to progress far in the game to get the materials for high level sickles.) There are more efficient ways to level crops quickly though, specifically involving fertilizer, formula As and Greenifiers specifically, getting you most crops to very high levels super fast, and you don't need an upgraded sickle. So a level 9 turnip being sickled will result in a level 9 turnip seed with a cheap sickle. All tier sickles will always give a seed though even if it is above the level where the +1 can affect it, it will just give you the +0 seed essentially. Lower tier sickles will only give you the +1 effect up to a certain level, it's very useful for new players who aren't familiar with all the farm mechanics to get level 10. If you have a level 3 turnip, you always get a level 4 turnip. Sickle is used on any plant to cut them down and guarantee a seed of one higher level than the crop is in the ground.
